About the Founder
She spent time working with the award-winning graphic design boutique, Particle before moving onto a larger full-service web development firm, iDev. Her first project for iDev was designing Al Gore's Campaign 2000 website. Karin acted as lead designer for several exciting projects, including websites for the Smithsonian Institution, Fannie Mae, the American Institute of Architects, Playbill and Stuart Weitzman. Karin received a BFA (summa cum laude) in graphic design from the American College in London. She also is the recipient of several industry awards, including a gold medal from the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington and several notable mentions in Print Magazine's Annual Regional Design Issue. In her down time, Karin enjoys city life (all cities, but she makes her home near Patterson Park, Baltimore), travel, and dog walks with her husband, two pugs and a Great Dane. |
